Ahhh, that must be the photo with BM Revere Pewter 50% darkened 🙂 That’s my own home and I have Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze on the railings!

Ahhh, that’s Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter, 25% darker (maaaybe 50%, I can’t remember), but the difference is subtle :).

We are currently renovating our master bedroom in a minimalist “Japandi” style. I picked out a soft light grey ceramic floor tile, matte black fixtures and a light walnut color vanity cabinet. The bathroom has 2 windows (south and west facing). I would like to keep the wall paint color warm even with white in mind; I was wondering if you would recommend BM White Dove or Plaster of Paris as the wall paint. As well, any recommendations for ceiling and trim color with these 2 potential wall colors?

Hi Jennifer! Nope, it really shouldn’t. It can make it seem that bit whiter/brighter, but the undertone should still stay soft and yellow 🙂

Hi Caroline, that’s Edgecomb 75% lighter! The floor is Goodfellow and I believe it was in the Riverside Heights collection or something – stain colour ‘stone’ :).

Normally I wouldn’t answer questions like this, but I LIKE you and appreciate you. So, I see no problem with trying White Dove on the cabinets and trim (yes, they should be the SAME white), as long as White Dove suits your backsplash too!

As for wall colour, there are quite a few variations on Tropical Brown, so I can’t be too specific. I can say that I would lean away from anything like White Duck/Ballet White, thinking the could have a touch too much of a yellow base for your countertop. I like the idea of Edgecomb Gray MUCH more.

I hope this helps or at least ELIMINATES a few thoughts for you :).

Hi Jennifer! Believe it or not, but that’s actually Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter slightly darkened. It’s a warm gray with a subtle green undertone! But it sure looks nice with White Dove :). If you want more warmth, considering BM Edgecomb Gray, perhaps 25% darker for a bit more body.
